Remembering How 2 Draw Zine
Remembering How 2 Draw is a free flowing impromptu zine full of spelling mistakes and pencil lines! It's about the purpose and commodification of art making. I offer stories about my own relationship to it, how it started and changed over time. I ponder what making art does for others and myself and offer antidotes, questions, ideas and sentiments. Each page was made as I went without planning and it reads like a conversation on a living room floor.
As an accessibility note, know that the handwriting in this one is unhinged and a bit tricky to read for some.
Current variants are a bright assortment of colour paper covers, with white pages and hand sewn embroidery thread bindings. Some of the covers have bleed through from ink, but it looks cool I promise!
